Apex Legends Season 16 is now just a few weeks away, and in anticipation of that new season, we’ve started receiving new teasers for what’s to come. However, these teasers take a different approach to the seasonal previews, apparently with a carnival theme. A placeholder for the season 16 launch trailer has also already been set up, with these teasers coming to fruition on February 6 when the season’s first trailer debuts.
The first of these teasers was shared on Friday featuring several characters fitting onto an Apex Games anniversary “opening day” poster, which is most likely a nod to the Apex Legends anniversary event coming soon. We see Mirage in a lion suit, Gibraltar as a strongman, Pathfinder as an acrobat and Octane as a jester. At the center of the poster is Duardo Silva, Octane’s father and a recurring antagonist in the history of Apex Legends.

It’s also worth pointing out that the poster read “On World’s Edge” in the lower left corner. You could easily take that as a tease for what some of the card pool might look like in Season 16, though Respawn hasn’t said anything about that yet.
Shortly after, another similar poster was shared that focused less on characters and more on creatures and attractions. Carnival games of all kinds, like claw machines and ring toss, were advertised, but it doesn’t look like there’s really any distraction in terms of teasers hinting at what’s to come in the next season.

Apex Legends Season 16 launch trailer
And finally, there’s the launch trailer for season 16. While it’s not out yet, Respawn has done what it’s done over the past few seasons and put down a landing point that premieres on Youtube for the new trailer. Respawn said so Top players can tune into the game’s YouTube channel on February 6 at 10am PST to see what the launch trailer has in store.
Given how the past seasons have turned out, we’re likely to get two trailers: the first will likely be more cinematic in nature, while the second will be more focused on gameplay.
When does Apex Legends Season 16 starting?
Respawn has yet to confirm an exact season 16 start date. However, judging by the information provided by the current battle pass, the new season should start around February 14th.
This season launch trailer should give us the answer to that question, so tune in to the premiere on Monday to see when season 16 kicks off.
